Visiting the Apuan Alps Park is great but you need to fill up on energy in the morning first: don’t miss out on the tastes, aromas and colours of our breakfast to set you up for a day filled with exciting adventures! You can come for breakfast in our restaurant from 7:00 to 10:00 in the morning.
Outdoor activities surrounded by nature!
If you are always active, even on holiday, our campsite in Versilia, Tuscany, provides the perfect setting for all activities you can practise in the open air and in contact with nature. Cycling in the Massarosa hills, a hike along the paths in the LIPU wildlife sanctuary in Massaciuccoli and, for the more adventurous, canyoning, climbing or mountaineering and via ferratas in the Apuan Alps.
A place with plenty of surprises in store: the Apuan Alps Regional Park
Discover and experience the wonders of the mountains! The Apuan Alps nature park is a protected natural environment and since 2012 has also been a UNESCO Global Geopark. It is known throughout the world for its open-air and underground white marble quarries, such as the Fantiscritti museum quarry but also the Grotta del Vento provides an incredible journey into the earth.
Nature at its purest: Migliarino San Rossore Nature Park
Did you know that the Park (and the estate) are named after a little known saint? A certain San Lussorio subsequently became known as San Rossore: his remains have been preserved in the church named after him, which stands near the present-day Cascine Vecchie. A number of dromedaries populated the Park for over 3 centuries from 1683, and there are numerous remains from the Roman period in the first century …a sight not to be missed!

The evening is the time to relax, when we talk about the incredible places we have visited during the day or the wonderful days spent on the beach. Whatever you have done, end the day with a relaxing dinner in the restaurant of our holiday village in Torre del Lago Puccini, Viareggio.
